Marlon Reid Pro boxing debut points victory over Gary Cooper from South Wales

AN ECSTATIC Marlon Reid has promised Swindon fight fans there is plenty more to come from him after a hugely impressive professional debut on 20th October.

The 23-year-old middleweight boxer, who only joined the paid ranks in June, thrilled the home supporters with a blemish-free points victory over Gary Cooper from South Wales.

A ferocious start to bout in round two saw both fighters going toe-to-toe in Cooper's corner, round three was another cracker, both boxers landing clean shots with Cooper showing plenty of resistance. The chants continued into round four, and though Reid failed to deliver the knockout blow the fans were craving, he was still highly satisfied with his maiden professional boxing performance.
